Next we're going to transition away from "portraits" into "pictures of people" that may or may not fit the definition of portraits.


In other news, it's come to my attention that a significant number of people are clicking through to this site by searching for "octopi" on Google Images. So I guess that's cool... although I'm not sure if I should let my reputation rest on seafood like that.

I don't think that this is the most technically exciting picture... but he's SO CUTE!

Taken on a hike in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It was too foggy for the usual sweeping vistas, but this is what we got instead.

Two more from Taiwan: These were taken inside "The Living Mall," which is an enormous mall with a giant spherical department store in the center of it. Definitely unlike anything else I've ever seen.
